May’s weather was too dramatic for its usual SoCal sobriquet “May Gray”. There were too many uncharacteristically sunny sunrises and rain when we. Just. Don’t. Get. Rain. In. May.
June, though it’s a bit early to make a confident prediction, appears to be on-track for its sobriquet: June Gloom.
(I never thought I’d use “sobriquet” – correctly! – in a blog post and to do it twice! Well, I must say I’m feeling pretty fancy!)
